How to compare two quotes for a 4 × 8 metre pool
This guide lists indicative ranges of SAR 28,000–36,000 for fiberglass and SAR 50,000–80,000 for concrete at this size. These are planning estimates, not binding quotations or a fixed percentage saving. Ask each contractor to specify depth, excavation, transport, installation, waterproofing, finish, pump and filter, and whether tax is included, before comparing totals.

Running costs after construction
Budget separately for electricity, top-up water, cleaning, chemicals and maintenance. To estimate an electrical device's consumption, multiply its input power in kilowatts by actual daily operating hours and operating days, then apply your account's electricity tariff. A pump's consumption is not the whole pool's consumption; calculate heating separately. Request equipment data rather than assuming one monthly bill fits every pool.
